These are the terms for using LasagnaFi, a personal finance app made by SuperCoolLabs LLC. By using the app, you agree to them.
We are not a financial advisor
LasagnaFi is not a registered investment advisor, broker, or financial planner, and nothing in the app is financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Everything you see is for information and education only. We show you your numbers and highlight things you may want to review, but we don't know your full situation and we can't make decisions for you.
The insights are generated in part by AI and can be wrong or incomplete. The balances and transactions we pull through Plaid can also be delayed, out of date, or missing, and the same goes for anything you enter by hand. If you upload a tax document, the AI reads the numbers from the page and can misread one, so check them against the original before you rely on them. Always double-check the numbers against your bank, and talk to a licensed professional before making any financial decision. Any action you take based on the app is your own choice, and you're responsible for it.
Using LasagnaFi does not create any advisory, fiduciary, or professional relationship between you and SuperCoolLabs LLC. We are not acting on your behalf, and we owe you no duty to manage your money or your decisions.
Using the app
Rules for using LasagnaFi:
- You need to be at least 18 to use LasagnaFi.
- Keep your login secure, and tell us if you see activity you do not recognize.
- Do not misuse the service. Do not attempt to disrupt it, scrape it, or use it to harm others.
- The information you give us should be accurate and yours to share.
Connecting your accounts
When you link a financial account, you're letting us pull your balances and transactions through Plaid so the app can show your accounts and give you insights. Connections are read-only, so we can see your accounts but we can never move your money. How we handle that data is covered in our Privacy Policy.
Paid plans
Some features need a paid subscription. Payments are handled by Stripe. Plans renew automatically until you cancel, and you can cancel anytime from Settings. Prices may change, but we'll tell you first.
Services we rely on
LasagnaFi depends on other companies to work, including Plaid for account connections, WorkOS for sign-in codes, Stripe for payments, and AI providers (via OpenRouter) for insights. Each of them is its own company with its own terms. We are not responsible for their outages, mistakes, or actions, or for how they handle data on their side, and a problem with one of them may stop parts of the app from working. Where you interact with those services, their own terms apply too.
Your data and deleting your account
You can disconnect accounts or delete your account entirely from Settings at any time. If you'd rather keep everything on your own server, LasagnaFi is open source and you're free to self-host it.
No liability
We try to keep LasagnaFi accurate and available, but we provide it "as is" and "as available," with no warranties of any kind. We can't promise it will always be correct, uninterrupted, or error-free, and the information it shows is for information and education only, not financial advice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SuperCoolLabs LLC is not liable for any damages, losses, or costs arising from your use of the app, from any errors or downtime, or from any decision you make in reliance on its information. This includes indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, and any lost profits, lost data, or lost savings, even if we were told such damages were possible. You use LasagnaFi at your own risk.
If any liability is ever found despite the above, the total amount SuperCoolLabs LLC owes you for all claims combined will not exceed the greater of what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or one hundred US dollars. Some states and countries do not allow these limits, so parts of this may not apply to you.
You cover your own misuse
If your use of LasagnaFi, your breach of these terms, or your violation of someone else's rights leads to a claim against us, you agree to cover SuperCoolLabs LLC for it. That means you'll defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from the reasonable costs, damages, and legal fees that result.
Who owns what
The LasagnaFi name, logo, look and feel, and the content we create for the hosted app belong to SuperCoolLabs LLC. The source code is open source and you're free to use it under the terms of its license. These terms don't give you the right to use our name or brand to present your own service as ours.
Ending your access
You can stop using LasagnaFi and delete your account at any time. We can also suspend or close an account if it's being misused, if it puts the service or other people at risk, or if we're required to. Where it's reasonable to, we will tell you first. Some parts of these terms stay in effect after your account ends, including the disclaimers and the liability limits.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top. If you keep using the app, you accept the new terms.
Other legal terms
A few standard points:
- These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which SuperCoolLabs LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
- If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
- Together with our Privacy Policy, these terms are the whole agreement between you and us about LasagnaFi.
